ya exactly, lots of variation in tempo, unless you cut out slow passages and keep them repeat what the producers of that dvd did.

Thanks :)

Yes, Amun Ra is quite relaxing. I like the title track.

Stretching to no music is quite boring, for sure. But I too don't find Ramzy in that genre. Most of his music will have a lot of variation in it so it won't be appropriate for stretching for which you need quiet steady music.

I'll tell you what else I spot in that genre.

Really great music Mala!! I got it immediately after listening to the glimpses on emusic! I ve been searching for relaxing Mideastern flavoured music for a LONG time for stretching.
I used to be very bad (lazy) with it until I got hurt.
Been better since then, but I realized this summer I need music to go with it, as I need for exercising. I think my mind gets bored too quick if there s no music for the mood.

I tried a few songs from Hossam Ramzy Immortal Egypt, coz I liked them on my beginner dvd Amira 101. problem: she used the slow parts of the songs repeatedly. The songs in reality get fast with some pumping sounds I personally find distracting and uncomfortable while stretching.

This is great music for that purpose! Plus it s really cool to find something "Egyptian" flavoured, I guess most music of this kind is Indian flavoured (which I would not mind, only I have only found so-so songs on youtube so far - any suggestions for great Central or Eastern Asian relaxing sounds?).

So a heartfelt thumbs up for this suggestion!!!!!! Thank you Mala :)
