I tried it out often, blinking at cats, which caused them to approach me immediately with the tail high up in the air in most cases. It is still fun to play the "cat whisperer" with people who are not aware of this simple message ("oh don't bother.. my cat never approaches strangers.. what the....???!!!??" :) ) Oh that brings back childhood memories!
