About this blog
This blog is a gift to me in more ways than one.
First, my brother created it for me, set up my domain and handed it over. Good thing too, or I may never have gotten around to it.
Second, “More Than Somewhat” the book by Damon Runyon, was one of the most amusing gifts I’ve received. And from one of my best friends at that. The title brings a smile to my face when ever I think back to the weird characters in that, and all of Damon Runyon’s other books.
This blog was supposed to be about everything that I really like or don’t like – but as one realizes, in blogdom, you can’t just thrown in all your interests. And so, over the years, it has focused more on belly dancing and to a lesser extent, on fitness. I also happen to be intensely interested in other things – psychology, management and HR, technology, documentary films and journalism, the last being my profession. So this will explain the occasional non belly dnace and fitness categories you’ll see here.
I see this blog as a gentle and open environment where visitors can discuss whatever they like without getting upset or causing offense to one another. Not that this has ever happened. I have the loveliest people as regular visitors and many have become good friends.
If you’re new here, go ahead and explore and feel free to give me feedback, add to discussions or tell me what you’d like me to write about.
